I had some ideas how to capture onboard footage and create some dynamic effects combining multiple frames of a video. Here are first results, not too bad for now:
Onboard video has been captured with a Garmin Virb Ultra 30 (1080p for now), 11 frames extracted and stacked using Autostakkert (a tool dedicated to astronomy lucky-imaging processing) aligning on the dashboard.
Improvements for next time:
- Changing the camera position so that the vanishing point is visible
- Using 4K footage
- Increase framerate
- Clean the windscreen 🙂
